International Visitors

IRCV hosts established and emerging foreign leaders in government, politics, media, business, education, science, arts and other key fields who have been selected by American embassies overseas to visit the United States through the International Visitor Leadership Program. The U.S. State Department, hosting agencies and local coordinating organizations such as the International Visitors Council of Los Angeles (IVCLA) have identified IRCV as a key destination for visitors seeking to acquire more information about U.S. civil society, institutional mechanisms, citizenship and pluralism, democracy, interfaith relations, education policy and social science standards/curricula, and the media and public discourse. Since 1993, IRCV has provided training (in some cases all-day programs) to over 800 visitors from roughly 120 countries at its offices in Orange County, California.
