These materials have been developed to help K-12 educators teach about topics in social studies, world history, and religious studies. Grounded in academic scholarship, and conscious of prevailing guidelines for teaching about religion, these publications provide valuable background information, lesson plans and other preparatory materials, student readings, handouts, and activities, bibliographies, glossaries, and other resources. Primary sources translated into English are heavily featured, along with critical thinking exercises. These units can be used in a flexible manner, according to your particular students' needs and interests. Furthermore, these materials have been found to be of use in other educational contexts as well.
